UNAS migration

UNAS webshop migration to your own platform

UNAS is a great system to start with, but many merchants eventually hit the limits of a rented platform: no custom features, no code ownership, no deep integrations. We migrate your UNAS shop completely to WooCommerce, OpenCart or a custom Next.js build — with your products, customers, orders and Google rankings intact.

Full data migration

Products, categories, customers, orders, coupons — via API and exports, verified item by item.

301 redirect map

Every old UNAS URL points to the right new page — your links and rankings stay.

Parallel running

The new shop is built on staging; UNAS keeps running until everything is flawless.

Integrations rewired

Payments, invoicing, couriers — everything works in the new system from day one.

When is it worth leaving UNAS?

When your shop has outgrown the frame: you want a custom feature the rented system doesn't allow; the monthly fee plus add-ons already cost more than running your own system; or you need integrations (ERP, custom pricing, B2B workflows) that require full access. With your own system both the code and the data are yours — no platform lock-in, and the development roadmap is set by your business, not the provider's schedule.

How the migration works

First we assess your shop: product count, custom fields, variants, integrations. Then we extract the data through the UNAS API and exports, clean it and load it into the new system, verifying the match item by item. A 301 redirect map covers the old URLs, and before go-live we walk through the whole purchase flow together. The DNS switch takes minutes — your customers will likely never notice they're on a new system.

How we protect your Google rankings

The biggest risk of any migration is losing SEO value — so that's where we focus most. We carry over meta titles and descriptions, preserve or redirect the full URL structure, regenerate the sitemap and submit it to search engines immediately after the switch. Product feeds (Google Shopping, price comparison sites) are reconnected too, so your ads keep running without a gap.

Frequently asked questions

How long does a UNAS migration take?

Depending on catalogue size and custom needs, typically 3–6 weeks from assessment to go-live. Your shop keeps running on UNAS the whole time.

Will the shop go down during the switch?

No. The new system is built in parallel and we only switch once everything is tested. The switch itself happens in a short, pre-agreed window.

What happens to my Google results and ads?

With 301 redirects and a fresh sitemap the rankings carry over; a short fluctuation can occur, but after a well-executed migration positions recover — and often improve thanks to the faster system.
